Student Entrepreneurship Policy


Kerala State Government has announced a new Student Entrepreneurship Policy to make Kerala an entrepreneurial state. Student entrepreneurs who work through the Government recognized incubators will be given upto 20 percent attendance and upto 4 percent grace marks. CUSAT wide UO no Ac.A4/Misc/2010 dated 21-11-2012 has implemented this government order. Students currently studying with CUSAT or with any of its affiliated colleges are eligible to avail this scheme. They have to be registered with CUSAT TBI or any one of the following government recognized TBIs –

  1. TBI of Technopark, Trivandrum
  2. TBI of NIT Calicut
  3. TBI of Startup Village, Kochi

The eligible candidate has to submit duly filled following forms downloaded from the website. Form consists of following three parts

  1. Nodal Agency Certification Form : To be issued by the registered TBI
  2. College/Institution Recommendation letter : To be issued by the Principal of the college / HOD of the department ( for CUSAT students)
  3. University Request Form :  To be filled by each eligible applicant
