Prof. S.P University, Gujarat visited Department of Hindi, CUSAT under Scholar in Residence Programme from 07/12/2009 to 18/12/2009 (12 days). Erudite Programme was introduced by Govt. of Kerala to improve the academic standard of Higher Education and Research. The vision of this programme is providing enough chances to interact with eminent personalities and restructure the academic and research programme for a global purpose. On 07-12-2009 from 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM Dr, Shiv Kumar Mishra has interacted with the Research Scholars and engaged Classes from 2.00 PM - 3.00 PM . The Teachers as well as the students along with the Teachers and Research Scholars of near by Universities and Colleges had attended and got benefitted with the classes. On 08-12-2009 from 10.00 to 12.00 PM The Erudite Scholar had Discussion with M.Phil. Students .From 2.00 PM to 3.00 PM the Scholar in Residence has taken Classes to the MA Students. He has delivered a lecture and interacted with the Faculty Members of the Department at 10 AM on 09-12-2009. After that he engaged classes for the M.Phil. Students. On 10th December the Invited Scholar has made a lecture on the Innovative Approaches in Teaching for College Teachers. The faculty Members of Maharaja's College ,Ernakulam and P.G & Research Department of Hindi , Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha Ernakulam attended and participated in the Discussion. A fruitful Discussion with Teachers in the Department about DRS Topic ‘Indianess in Indian Literature with Special reference to Hindi and Malayalam Literature’ was held on 11th December 2009. Dr. Shiv Kumar Mishra, Rtd. Prof. S.P University, Gujrat, the Scholar in Residence made a speech on the topic New Trends in Modern Hindi Criticism for students and Faculty Members in the Department on 14th December 2009. On 15th December 2009, New Trends in Modern Hindi Criticism for students and Faculty Members in the Department , Dr. Shiv Kumar Mishra engaged Classes to the Post Graduate Students of Hindi department. On 16th December , he inaugurated the national seminar on Dalit Literature and made Key Note Address. He attended and chaired various seminar sessions on 17th December 2009. On 18th December the Scholar made Discussion with Teachers of the Department about the Newly Emerging Areas of Study . Over all the entire programme was a successful one. Students, Research Scholars, Faculty Members and invited faculty members of the nearby Colleges commended on the programme very positively and requested to continue such programmes in future also. They opined that such programme will expand the outlook and vision of the academic and research activities. | |
