SDG 15 Life On Land
Recognizing the critical importance of Earth’s ecosystems in
sustaining human life, the University undertakes a variety of
programs dedicated to the protection of land, forests, natural
habitats, and the overall environment. The Green Initiatives Cell
and National Service Scheme (NSS) unit, play a pivotal role in
organizing a range of engaging programs and activities that raise
awareness and foster community involvement in environmental
conservation. Furthermore, the Atmospheric Research Centre at the
University is committed to conducting in-depth research on climate
change. This center plays a vital role in monitoring atmospheric
conditions and providing the public with timely updates on weather
patterns, including critical information about rainfall and its
implications for the ecosystem and agriculture. Through these
initiatives, the University strives to instil a sense of
responsibility toward our planet and its resources.
